Melissa Holtz is the former CMO of Verve Romance—formerly Book+Main—a romance community/matchmaking site that acts as both a discovery service for readers and a marketing/promotional tool for authors. Now in an advisory role, she consults on industry marketing trends and helped bring 75k+ users and 1.5 million “bites” (excerpts from their books posted by authors) to the platform.

Having also owned and operated a successful romance PR company, she has a strong network of bestselling authors, bloggers, bookstagrammers, and other industry professionals. She is also an author coach, focusing on a person's innate strengths to achieve their publishing goals.
